Care and Support Team Leader

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Service Manager to join our team in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. The successful candidate will oversee one of our services supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism. This is an excellent opportunity for career progression within a leading care specialist organisation.
Key Responsibilities:- Motivate and inspire teams to deliver outstanding support through effective training, coaching, and leadership.
- Act as a role model and leader in the delivery of active support, empowering individuals to have fulfilling lives aligned with their needs and aspirations.
- Collaborate with the Service Leadership Team to oversee and manage the smooth running of the service, including rostering, support plans, staff deployment, and budget management.
- A strong understanding of best practice in delivering support to people with different needs and a passion for doing so.
- Excellent communication and people management skills, with knowledge and understanding of current CQC regulations and compliance within the new framework.
- The ability to think on your feet and make commitments to see things through, securing the best outcomes for those you support.
- An estimated salary of £27,950 per annum.
- NVQ Level 5 after six months.
