Clinical Psychologist Fellow

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the Centre for Psychological Therapies. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to clinical supervision, placement support, core teaching, and service delivery.
About the RoleThis part-time position (0.3FTE, 10.5 hours per week) is available from 1st December 2024 and will be fixed-term for 5.5 months. The successful candidate will provide clinical cover during the centre's operational times, including daytime and evenings, with some flexibility required.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical supervision and support to students on placement
- Contribute to core teaching and service delivery at the Centre for Psychological Therapies
- Work effectively as a member of a team and take responsibility for organizing your own activities and managing allocated resources
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Psychology, Nursing, Social Work)
- Postgraduate qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, or postgraduate qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (working towards accreditation as a CBT Therapist)
- Experience and expertise in CBT with children and young people (desirable)
- Experience and expertise of supervising others using a CBT model (desirable)
- Experience and expertise in delivery of teaching and training in CBT (desirable)
- Minimum 5 years' experience managing risk in a range of clinical settings (desirable)
- Experience of working in a university setting
- Experience of supporting students on placement at a placement agency
