Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per year + Uncapped Overtime + Call Out Allowance + Company Van + Benefits Package

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Repair and Installation Engineer to join our team at Luton Bennett. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the repair, installation, and maintenance of automated gates, barriers, bollards, and fencing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out regular servicing of automated products and reconditioning equipment when required by customers, either on site or at the client's workshop.
  • Installation of new gates, barriers, bollards, and fencing including groundworks and labouring.
  • Installation of automated products to existing gates.
  • Installation of Entry Systems: i.e. intercoms and card readers.
  • Fault Finding on Site – Emergency Response Call outs.
  • Carrying out onsite welding and repairs.
  • Making up control boards ready for installation.
  • General workshop duties when required including cleaning, tidying, putting stock deliveries away and re-stocking your vehicle.
  • General upkeep of company van and advising the office of mileage/problems to enable servicing/repairs to the vehicle to be arranged.
  • Daily completion of a time sheet which will be handed to the office once per month.
  • Undertaking of supplier training courses such as Health & Safety Tests.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working on Automated Gate Systems.
  • Previous experience of fault diagnosis, repair, service upgrades, and installation work.
  • Both mechanical and electrical knowledge.
