About the Role

The Head of Food and Beverage will oversee the recruitment, training, and development of the F&B team, ensuring efficient staffing for events and compliance with SOPs and safety standards. You will also be responsible for implementing and monitoring food safety policies, ensuring compliance with regulations, HACCP procedures, and the company's Food Safety Management System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the venue's strategic plans and objectives as part of the Senior Management Team.
  • Assist in developing and delivering the business plan by optimizing revenue streams, maximizing cost efficiencies, and implementing innovative strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to F&B SOPs, manage administrative duties, and oversee event setups, bar areas, and restaurant services.
  • Implement and monitor food safety policies, ensuring compliance with regulations and the company's Food Safety Management System.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and development of the F&B team.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Experience of working in a senior role in a similar, high-volume, customer-focused venue.
  • Holder of a Personal Licence (desirable).
  • Level 3 Award in Food Safety for Catering.
  • Level 2 Award in Food Allergen Awareness and Control in Catering.
  • Level 2 Award in HACCP for Catering.
  • Knowledge of the local and regional entertainment offers and venues.
  • Sound knowledge of budgeting, stock, and margin control.
  • Ability to manage several tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills with the ability to work flexibly.
  • Experience in the management of statutory requirements.
