Starting salary: £25,000 per annum
Based in: Covent Garden, London
The Royal Opera House is a world-renowned institution that continues to lead the way in opera, ballet, music, and dance. Our Audiences and Media Department focuses on growing the love, advocacy, and demand for our art, and we are seeking talented junior designers/artworkers to join our in-house Creative Studios team.
The role will suit a creative and skilled individual with a flexible approach, good time management skills, and the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders across the organisation. Our ideal candidate will have:
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign is a must)
- Demonstrable track record of art-working, design, and production skills - please include a link to your online portfolio of work if you have one
- Experience of print and digital design, with an excellent eye for detail, and strong typographic skills
- Experience in Adobe Animate software and creating digital banners for advertising
- The ability to work to tight project constraints and deadlines, whilst retaining accuracy
- The ability to contribute with ideas, working in a creative team environment
We place value on the technical skills required for this role and are open to applications from across sectors. A love and knowledge of the artforms is not essential, but a willingness to learn about and embrace them is a must.
