Job Title: Access Rights Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Access Rights Specialist to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As an Access Rights Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the access rights of customers connected to our network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting and coordinating the development of new access products to accelerate new connections to the network.
  • Monitoring and enforcing compliance with access rights and obligations by all parties to ensure a safe, reliable, and fair network.
  • Maintaining the central ledger of rights and obligations and serving as a point of reference for all functions across ENGINEERINGUK.
  • Coordinating and maintaining internal processes to account for changes to the framework for access rights in line with national codes such as DCUSA and DCode.

Requirements:

  • Ability to translate regulatory and code requirements and embed them in business processes and controls.
  • Commercial awareness and proficiency in contract management and enforcement using agreed processes.
  • Good understanding of network development, new connection requirements, and engineering and commercial processes for assessing connections to networks.
  • Understanding of the framework for network access and changes introduced under Access SCR.
