We are seeking a dedicated Care Support Specialist to join our team in supporting individuals with complex needs, such as learning disabilities, complex epilepsy, autism, and down syndrome. The successful candidate will work in a rural village setting, providing 24hr care to people living in their own homes.

The service has two adjoining bungalows with two people living in each house. A communal lounge and kitchen is where everyone comes together for entertainment and activities. There is also a lovely communal garden to enjoy whatever the weather. The team works hard to create a warm and welcoming environment to ensure everyone, including staff, feels safe and supported.

The successful candidate will work on a rota system and will be considered for flexible working hours to encourage a healthy work-life balance. Shifts are: Early 7.30am 3pm, Late 2pm 10pm, and Night 10pm 8am.

We also work closely with the team at the Tulloch Hill service and meet socially once a month to enjoy an activity such as bowling, coffee, and a meal.

About you

We are looking for a Care Support Specialist with a genuine passion to make a difference in the life of someone with additional support needs. The ideal candidate will have good team-working skills and a positive attitude, with the ability to communicate effectively and use their own initiative.

The successful candidate will be able to prioritise and manage workloads, with a strong work ethic and organised approach to support routines. They will also be eager to develop and have a genuine passion for caring for others.
