About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as an Associate Director - Rail Infrastructure. As a key member of our Waterman Group team, you will be responsible for leading our rail infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage rail infrastructure projects, including planning, execution, and delivery
  • Develop and implement project execution plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and clients, to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and growth initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Proven experience in rail infrastructure project management, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to develop and implement business strategies
  • Chartered status (C.Eng/MIStructE) or equivalent
  • Full UK driving license
