About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to an individual with an acquired brain injury.

The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver person-centred care and support, promoting independence and enabling the individual to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to the individual, including assistance with daily living tasks and activities.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the individual's safety and well-being.
  • Support the individual with their daily routine, including meal preparation and medication management.
  • Engage in activities and hobbies with the individual, promoting social interaction and community involvement.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualised care plans.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a care or support role, preferably with individuals with brain injuries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with the individual and their family.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Up-to-date DBS clearance at the enhanced level.
