About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Ad Warrior. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to an individual with an acquired brain injury.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to the individual, including assistance with daily living tasks and activities.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the individual's safety and well-being.
- Support the individual with their daily routine, including meal preparation and medication management.
- Engage in activities and hobbies with the individual, promoting their independence and quality of life.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
Requirements
- Previous experience in care and support work, preferably with individuals with brain injuries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with the individual and their family.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- A full, clean driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Up-to-date DBS clearance at the enhanced level.
