About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Store Operations Lead to join our team in Yeovil. As a Store Operations Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing stock levels, maintaining high standards of customer service, and supervising a team of retail staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and on time.
- Lead Team Members: Supervise and motivate a team of retail staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Stock Management: Maintain accurate stock levels, manage inventory, and monitor sales trends to inform buying decisions.
- Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, responding promptly to queries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a retail management or leadership role, preferably in the pet care industry.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business administration or related field preferred.
