Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our team at AMETEK. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading and guiding a team of employees to achieve our manufacturing goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure the successful execution of production plans and schedules.
  • Monitor and report on production performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Cell Leader and Planner to develop and implement process improvements and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and procedures, and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members, and provide coaching and mentoring to support their career development.
  • Communicate effectively with the management team, providing regular updates on production performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business strategies and initiatives, and participate in cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with a strong track record of achieving production goals and objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures, with a focus on quality and safety.
