Lead Modern Workplace Engineer

Pontoon is seeking a highly skilled Modern Workplace Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of Microsoft 365, Azure, and limited on-premise infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Device, Application & Data Management: Manage Endpoint Manager, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Jamf to ensure seamless device and data management.
  • Collaboration & Unified Communications: Oversee Teams, PSTN in Teams, and Exchange to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Office Engineering: Handle telemetry, add-on management, and governance to maintain a secure and efficient Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Process Automation: Utilize Power Automate to automate business processes and improve productivity.
  • Identity & Access Management: Manage Entra ID to ensure secure access to company resources.
  • Cloud Services: Work with SaaS, PaaS, and IoT to leverage the benefits of cloud computing.
  • Networking: Ensure the network infrastructure is secure, reliable, and efficient.

Pontoon is a leading finance organisation, and this role will be based in Leeds. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft 365 and Azure, with experience in leading teams and mentoring junior engineers.
