Lead Modern Workplace Engineer

Pontoon is seeking a highly skilled Modern Workplace Engineer to join their team in Leeds.

Role Overview:

The Lead Modern Workplace Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft 365, Azure, and limited on-premise infrastructure (networking, printing, and meeting rooms) and associated systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Device, Application & Data Management: Manage Endpoint Manager, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Jamf.
  • Office Engineering: Handle telemetry, add-on management, and governance.
  • Identity & Access Management: Manage Entra ID.
  • Networking: Manage WAN, LAN, and WiFi.
  • Solution Design & Development: Collaborate with Technology Architects to design new solutions and ensure development aligns with design requirements and technical policies.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in designing, building, managing, and troubleshooting infrastructure and cloud-based solutions.
  • Proficiency in MS365 Product Suite (Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business).
  • Experience with device, application, and data management tools (Intune, Windows 10 Management).
  • Familiarity with networking technologies (WAN, LAN, WiFi).
  • Skills in process automation and scripting (PowerShell, PowerApps, GraphAPI, Python).
  • Customer-focused with good stakeholder management skills.
  • Working knowledge of Agile Development Methodology.
