About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Measurement Standards and Quality Control to join our team at Digital Reality Corp Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to rigorous measurement standards, accurate documentation of measurements, and the preparation of BOMA reports.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in surveying, a deep understanding of measurement standards, and the ability to effectively communicate and document measurement procedures and results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document and ensure clarity in the principles of measurement and calculation, specifying:
  • The intended use of the building or part thereof, especially in mixed-use scenarios
  • The applicable standard used (e.g., IPMS 1, IPMS 2, IPMS 3.1, IPMS 3.2, IPMS 4.1, or IPMS 4.2)
  • The method of measurement and tools utilised
  • The unit of measurement
  • The date of measurement
  • Verification of measurements on-site and the validation process

Requirements:

  • Chartered Surveyor certification
  • Proficiency and competence with RICS Code of Measuring Practice
  • Comprehensive understanding of International Property Measurement Standards (IPMS) for both commercial and residential buildings, including knowledge of inclusions and exclusions for GIA/NIA
  • Familiarity with Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) standards
  • Experience as a Draftsman or Property Surveyor
