Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced lawyer to join our legal team as a Legal Counsel - Insurance Sector. The successful candidate will provide legal expertise and support to our insurance sector client based in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal experience and expertise, including drafting, negotiation, and review of all relevant commercial agreements and contract amendments in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Assist in the development and implementation of regulatory strategies and policies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide advice on commercial contracts, including agency agreements, binding authority agreements, third-party administrator agreements, and other relevant agreements.
- Assist in the negotiation and review of contracts with third-party vendors and suppliers.
- Conduct research and analysis to stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and developments.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of PQE with strong experience in commercial contracts work either in-house or in private practice.
- Insurance sector experience either from an in-house or private practice background.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
