Sustainability Role

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to fill the role of Sustainability Coordinator at SRG. This position offers the perfect opportunity for someone who is passionate about the environment and sustainability to make a meaningful contribution to our organisation.

As a Sustainability Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting the Senior Environmental Engineer in managing the Environmental and Quality systems across our Energy Recovery Facilities (ERFs). Your primary focus will be on implementing and monitoring day-to-day requirements, ensuring compliance with environmental, statutory, company, and contractual standards.

You will work closely with the ERF management team to meet their obligations regarding environmental monitoring and reporting, as required by the Environmental Permitting Regulations and other legislation. Your tasks will also include planning and carrying out monitoring and testing in a timely manner to meet required standards and permit requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior Environmental Engineer in managing Environmental and Quality systems

  • Support ERF management team in meeting environmental monitoring and reporting obligations
  • Plan and carry out monitoring and testing in a timely manner
