Job Opportunity: Associate Lecturer A - Understanding Applied Cognitive Psychology

Birkbeck University of London is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Lecturer to join our Psychology teaching team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the delivery of our Certificate of Higher Education and Accelerated Foundation Year programmes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Preparation, teaching, administration, and assessment for the Understanding Applied Cognitive Psychology module.
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to adult students.
  • Develop and implement effective assessment strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and programme materials.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Relevant teaching experience, preferably in the Higher Education sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and learning management systems.

Desirable:

  • PhD in Psychology or a related field.
  • Teaching qualification or experience.
