About the Role

In this rewarding role, you will work closely with experienced teachers and support staff to deliver high-quality education and support to our students. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with lesson planning, delivery, and assessment, as well as supporting the emotional and social development of our pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and providing individualized support to students
  • Help prepare teaching materials and resources
  • Monitor student progress and report back to the class teacher
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong commitment to working with children and young people, particularly those with SEMH needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of educational principles and practices
