Marketing and Communications Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Communications Lead to join our team at the RAI FILM Festival 2025. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase the visibility of the festival and drive ticket sales.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing a multi-channel marketing strategy to promote the festival
- Leading social media campaigns to engage with target audiences and foster online buzz
- Designing and executing email marketing campaigns to target professional networks and film industry professionals
- Writing and distributing press releases, newsletters, and promotional content to generate excitement and media attention for the festival
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure cohesive branding and promotion
- Engaging with local networks in Bristol to promote the festival and reach local audiences
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing and communications, particularly within the film, cultural, or events sector
- Proven experience in multi-channel marketing, including social media, email, press releases, and digital campaigns
- Demonstrated expertise in event promotion, especially for events with both online and in-person components
- Creative flair and entrepreneurial mindset to develop standout marketing campaigns
- Strong visual literacy and understanding of branding principles
- Proficiency in digital marketing analytics tools, including Google Analytics
- Knowledge of local networks and audiences in the Bristol area
