About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our properties.

Your duties will include a variety of tasks such as mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces. You will be required to operate a range of cleaning equipment, although full training will be provided on your first day.

This is a physically demanding role that involves manual handling activities. However, we offer a supportive and inclusive work environment, and we are committed to helping you develop your skills and career.

About You

We are looking for someone who is naturally friendly, with good written and verbal communication skills. You will be able to communicate effectively with customers and managers, while also complying with health and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, self-motivated, and have a keen eye for detail. You will be able to work on your own initiative, organizing your own time, as you will be managed remotely.

What Happens Next?

After you apply, your application will be reviewed, and if you are successful, you will be invited to a telephone assessment. This call will last around 15-20 minutes and will consist of 7 questions. There will not be a face-to-face interview in this process.

As a result, we will provide you with your interview questions ahead of the interview taking place, to allow you time to prepare in advance.
