About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Manager to join our team at SSE Enterprise. As a key member of our Group Risk & Audit team, you will play a critical role in supporting the SSE Group in meeting their risk management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an enterprise risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the organization.
  • Collaborate with leadership to deliver effective education, training, and change management to ensure a culture of proactive risk management.
  • Drive the implementation and improvement of the enterprise risk management framework, providing innovative support and conducting risk workshops.
  • Support operation risk management reporting and monitoring, identifying common risks, interconnected risks, and potential material impacts.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in stakeholder management with the ability to engage, support, and influence at all levels.
  • Sufficient experience in a risk management role, including experience of implementing and embedding enterprise risk management frameworks across a large organization.
  • A relevant qualification in risk management, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead risk workshops and present to senior stakeholders with confidence.
