We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing an established account base and building relationships with builders merchants and buying groups in the North of England and the Midlands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an established account base and build relationships with builders merchants and buying groups.
- Generate new business in a field-based role, planning your own journeys and maintaining a strong sales process.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless sales operations.
Requirements:
- Proven sales experience in the construction industry, preferably with a focus on building merchants or buying groups.
- Strong business development skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key accounts.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
