Job Title: Secondary Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to work in secondary schools in Ruskington, Lincolnshire. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher in preparing and organising engaging lessons for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in planning and preparing lessons
  • Support students with their social and emotional development
  • Work 1-1 with students and in small groups
  • Communicate effectively with students and staff
  • Adhere to safeguarding policies and maintain a safe learning environment

Requirements:

  • Enhanced child workforce enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
  • Suitable references that cover the last 2 years of employment
  • Experience of working with primary school aged children
  • Knowledge of primary education curriculum and teaching strategies
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
