Education Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our team in secondary schools in Ruskington, Lincolnshire.
As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons to students. You will also work one-to-one with students and in small groups, providing individualized support to help them develop their education.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a passion for the progress of secondary school pupils and be able to work effectively as part of a team. You will also need to have experience of working with primary school-aged children and a knowledge of the primary education curriculum and teaching strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in preparing and delivering lessons to students
- Work one-to-one with students and in small groups to provide individualized support
- Assist with the planning and preparation of class lessons
- Support students with their social and emotional development
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and maintain a safe learning environment
Requirements:
- Enhanced child workforce enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
- Suitable references that cover the last 2 years of employment
- Experience of working with primary school-aged children
- Knowledge of primary education curriculum and teaching strategies
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
