Join Our Team as a Senior Lecturer in Fine Arts

This is an exciting opportunity for an established arts sector practitioner to play a key role in the development and delivery of the BA Fine Art course at Chelsea College of Arts.

About the Role

As an interim Senior Lecturer in Fine Art, you will be responsible for ongoing teaching, curriculum development, scholarship, and related academic administration on the BA Fine Art course.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop professionally purposed pedagogy and enhance the BA curriculum in innovative directions, drawing on your experience and networks to prepare students for ambitious graduate futures within culture sectors in the UK and globally.
  • Teach both practice and writing across year groups as required.
  • Contribute to the development of the BA Fine Art course, ensuring it remains relevant and engaging for students.
Requirements

We are looking for a recognised authority in the contemporary art subject area, evidenced via your track record of professional practice within the art world at an international level.

  • Artistic practice that is grounded in digital and emerging technologies.
  • Event production, exhibition making, and/or curatorial practice.
  • Practice-based art writing that does not adhere to formal academic conventions.
