Job Title: Business Analyst - SaaS Expert

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team at BT6 Resourcing. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our Product and Technology teams, and laying the foundations of a Business Analysis function within our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of user journeys and processes, and the technologies that support them.
  • Gather, question, and document scope, processes, and requirements, involving end users throughout the change process.
  • Highlight project risks and opportunities, and provide regular feedback and updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Create excellent business and technical analysis outputs, including user stories, functional and non-functional specifications, and process models.
  • Track requirements and user stories throughout the design and change process.
  • Utilise Business Analysis best practices and insights to encourage the business to consider optimal solutions.
  • Contribute to the simplification of existing processes and procedures.
  • Provide support for business applications, including documentation and training.
  • Perform data analysis and data aggregation using BI and other data analysis tools.
  • Manage projects to deliver the above, or assist in the management of larger programmes or projects.
  • Implement continuous best-practice based improvements, ensuring the ongoing evolution of Business Analysis practices within our organisation.
  • Establish relationships and trust with stakeholders, understanding their goals, objectives, and desired outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in an IT Business Analyst role, with an understanding of SaaS platform development.
  • Experience in Motor Insurance Claims, Credit Hire, and Third-Party Capture is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with good attention to detail.
  • Strong planning and organisation skills, and the ability to manage moving deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Strong experience in fostering good working relationships and a collaborative team environment, cross-functionally.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience of delivering IT system requirements specifications and/or Agile story creation.
  • An understanding of waterfall, iterative, and Agile development methodologies, and experience of working with at least one of these across the full development lifecycle.
  • Keen to learn and get involved in other areas, such as Project Management, QA.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preference) and an understanding of APIs (REST/Swagger) would be beneficial.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with regular onsite days, including client sites.
  • Full Driving Licence, for frequent travel to and from areas with senior staff members.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis.
  • IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).
  • Certified SCRUM Master (CSM).
  • PRINCE2.
Required Tools and Techniques:
  • Azure DevOps (Jira/Confluence ok alternative).
  • MS Visio.
  • Excel (Advanced).
  • SQL (PostgreSQL/SQL 2019).
  • Experience with Power BI, Miro, and Figma would be beneficial.
