Job Title: Research Support Coordinator

Are you a skilled and experienced research professional looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Research Support Coordinator to join our dynamic research management team at the Leicester Diabetes Centre.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to research investigators and their teams, ensuring the smooth delivery of research studies.
  • Manage research governance and approval processes, ensuring timely and appropriate management of allocated studies.
  • Collaborate with research administrators and trial managers to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of research regulations, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a science or health-related discipline or a degree in another field with experience in clinical trials.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience of managing or delivering clinical research studies/trials in a large complex multi-professional organisation.
  • Experience within a supervisory/management role.
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal - able to communicate at all levels with well-developed networking and influencing skills.
Working Arrangements:

This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours over Monday to Friday. You must be able to attend the office in person.
