The Role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Safety & Risk Management to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and will be responsible for developing and implementing our safety, health, and risk management strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive plans to enhance safety standards and minimize risks
  • Lead the development of policies and procedures to ensure continuous service improvement
  • Influence strategic decisions and foster a culture of safety and risk awareness across the organization

Requirements

  • Chartered Membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH), or Certified Membership of the Institute of Risk Management (CMIRM)
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in an Occupational Health and Safety related discipline
  • Holds a current CSCS White Card or is prepared to immediately attain
  • P405 Management of Asbestos in Buildings Qualification, or willing to work towards
  • Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) Qualification, or willing to work towards
  • NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety (or equivalent) and Professional Membership of the Institute of Fire Engineers (or equivalent), or willing to work towards
  • Legionella Responsible Person / Duty Holder in Hot and Cold Water Systems City & Guilds (or equivalent), or willing to work towards
  • NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction Certificate (or equivalent), or willing to work towards
