Job Title: HR Officer

PKF Smith Cooper is seeking an experienced HR Officer to join our dynamic People team. As a crucial member of our organization, you will play a key role in supporting our business growth and development.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing HR support across various aspects of our business, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and policy development. You will work closely with our People team to ensure seamless delivery of HR services and contribute to the development of our HR strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of HR documents, policies, and procedures.
  • Support the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews and initial candidate assessments.
  • Manage employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Collaborate with the People team to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Participate in various HR projects and initiatives, providing support and contributing ideas.
  • Provide HR support to employees, addressing queries and issues in a professional and confidential manner.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6-12 months of experience in an HR/People role.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing priorities.
