Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Children's Emergency nurse to join our paediatric emergency team. As a Junior Sister/Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for leading the team in assessing patients' needs, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating effectiveness on an ongoing basis.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, assessment skills, and enthusiasm to deliver high-quality patient care in a busy district general hospital that sees over 25,000 children per year.

About Us
The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust provides a full range of general acute, outpatient, and diagnostic services at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, the Herts and Essex Hospital in Bishop's Stortford, and St Margaret's Hospital in Epping. We employ 3,500 staff and serve a local population of around 350,000 people living in west Essex and east Hertfordshire.

Key Responsibilities
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
• Ensure professional standards are maintained in accordance with the NMC code of professional conduct
• Work closely with parents, carers, and relatives to provide personalized patient care
• Obtain patient and relative feedback through clinical rounds to maintain excellent standards of care
• Maintain high-quality nursing documentation

Required Qualifications
• RSCN/RN (child)
• Post-registration study and/or leadership course
• Safeguarding training level 3
• Educated to degree level

Benefits
The successful candidate can expect a salary between £37,338 and £44,962 per annum, plus a 5% high-cost area supplement.
