We are seeking an experienced Emergency Management Specialist to join our team at Gloucestershire County Council.

About The Role

The Local Resilience Forum is a partnership of category 1, category 2, volunteers and other partners who work together to ensure that Gloucestershire can effectively prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a LRF, the ability to forge strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and evidence of supporting partner agencies to respond to the demands of shifting priorities and unplanned events.

This role involves managing work programmes, supporting LRF sub groups, embedding lessons learnt from previous emergencies, supporting the national risk assessment process, facilitating presentations to a wide range of stakeholders, assisting with training, and acting as a strategic and tactical advisor to command and control cells.
