About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ecologist to join our North East team at Tetra Tech. As a Senior Ecologist, you will play a key role in providing expert ecological advice to clients across a range of sectors, including residential, defence, energy, government services, and transport.

With a strong background in ecology and a passion for delivering high-quality projects, you will be responsible for leading on projects, providing technical expertise, and mentoring junior team members. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with clients, colleagues, and other teams to deliver innovative and effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert ecological advice to clients across a range of sectors
  • Lead on projects, including bat roost assessments, protected species surveys, and ecological appraisals
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies
  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance
  • Work closely with clients, colleagues, and other teams to deliver innovative and effective solutions
