Senior Ecologist

We are seeking a talented Senior Ecologist to join our north east team, contributing to a diverse project portfolio and collaborating with a network of over 95 ecologists.
About the Role:
As a Senior Ecologist, you will be a confident and competent ecologist, providing support and feedback to colleagues on project deliverables and drawing on the knowledge of our technical experts to develop the best solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fieldwork and surveys, including bat roost assessments and emergence surveys, protected species surveys, and ecological appraisals.
- Develop and implement effective mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of development on the environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues from across the business on multi-disciplinary projects, providing expert ecological advice and guidance.
