About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Broadcast Engineer to join our team at Bauer Media Audio in Scotland. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for delivering effective and efficient technical solutions for our broadcast systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the audio business day-to-day as part of a team
  • Fault finding operational issues and finding solutions in a timely manner
  • Planning and organising the maintenance of our facilities
  • Working on a variety of projects to help the business develop
Requirements
  • Knowledge of AOIP studio/routing systems and broadcast chains
  • An understanding of playout, news, logging, and streaming systems
  • Experience with video systems would be an advantage as our brands evolve with a greater visual presence
  • Expert fault-finding skills, a drive to help people and enjoy working in a team environment
  • A passion for technology and a keen interest in audio and video and a desire to be a part of the fast-paced environment of radio
