Job Description:

In this challenging and rewarding role as a Pain Management Clinical Lead at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of patients living with persistent pain. As a highly skilled clinical psychologist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing specialist pathways for pain management, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to CPD and a proven track record of delivering evidence-based interventions in clinical health psychology. You will be able to work flexibly across various settings, including inpatient and outpatient services, and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.

We offer a competitive salary of £63,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including access to ongoing professional development opportunities and a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To develop and implement specialist pathways for pain management, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
  • To provide high-quality patient care, ensuring that patients receive evidence-based interventions tailored to their individual needs.
  • To work flexibly across various settings, including inpatient and outpatient services.
  • To lead on the development and implementation of pain psychology pathways.
