Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Emergency Room. The successful candidate will respond to critical situations with professionalism and expertise.

Duties:

  • Assess and triage patients presenting to the Emergency Room, prioritizing care based on the severity of their conditions.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the medical team promptly.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills.

Requirements:

  • Valid registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Proven experience in an emergency care setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology is required for effective patient assessment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment while maintaining a calm demeanor.
  • Commitment to delivering high standards of patient care with compassion and empathy.
