About the Role

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our team in a secondary school setting. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the education and well-being of students in Key Stage 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a classroom of learners, maintaining a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Prepare the classroom for lessons and deliver a variety of work prepared by the absent class teacher.
  • Maintain classroom control and engage learners with both classroom and lab-based activities.
  • Be flexible, think on your feet, and show an enthusiasm for a variety of subjects.
  • Work in accordance with the school's behaviour management policies.
Requirements
  • At least 3 months of experience working with children.
  • Ideally be educated to a degree level.
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) is required.
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
  • The right to work in the UK.
