About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health issues and be able to provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment for individuals to share their experiences. You will work closely with our clinical team to provide holistic support and guidance to individuals, helping them to achieve their recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide peer support and guidance to individuals who have experienced mental health issues
  • Work closely with our clinical team to provide holistic support and guidance to individuals
  • Help individuals to achieve their recovery goals and improve their overall well-being
  • Develop and maintain relationships with individuals, families, and carers to provide ongoing support
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of our services
Requirements
  • Lived experience of mental health issues
  • NVQ3 in Care or equivalent qualification/experience
  • Knowledge of community resources and services
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
