Women's Advocacy Lead

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Women's Advocacy Lead. This role requires a kind and empathetic individual who is passionate about equality, diversity, and inclusion.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team delivering front-line services from crisis point onwards. They will provide high-quality independent advocacy and support to survivors of domestic abuse at highest risk and their children.
Our organization has over 30 years' experience in providing support for women, children, and young people affected by domestic abuse. We work from a feminist perspective and are committed to self-help principles.
As Women's Advocacy Lead, you will play a crucial part in our mission to support survivors and empower them to determine their own futures free from abuse and violence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a team providing front-line services
- Delivering high-quality advocacy and support to survivors and their children
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies
- Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Expertise in domestic abuse support and advocacy
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Experience working with vulnerable populations
- Familiarity with feminist principles and self-help approaches
