SEN Teaching and Support Role

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching and Support professional to join our team at a specialist school in the North West. As a Therapeutic Learning Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to support students with complex needs and help them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children aged 5+ years old with additional educational and emotional needs
- Provide 1:1 or small group support tailored to individual student requirements
Contract Details:
Location: Oldham, close to major motorway networks and public transport, Contract Type: Temporary - Permanent, Duration: Full academic year, Pay: £95 per day, Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a similar setting
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification
- GCSE Maths and English, and computer literacy skills
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training
Eligibility:
- Hold a valid Right to Work in the UK
- Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate
- Two professional child-related references covering the last two years
