Senior SEO Manager

The Telegraph is seeking a highly skilled Senior SEO Manager to lead our organic growth strategies and drive high-quality content across multiple evergreen channels. As a key member of our Audience team, you will work closely with editorial staff to ensure our content ranks effectively and meets the needs of our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement evergreen content strategies, planning, briefing, and optimizing content for multiple desks.
  • Manage and improve a small team of evergreen SEOs, providing guidance and support to achieve personal and business objectives.
  • Analyze content performance across core evergreen categories, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimizing performance.
  • Design and manage monthly reports to provide actionable insights to senior team members.
  • Collaborate with the editorial team to create SEO guides, training materials, and support with SEO advice and training sessions.
  • Work with the technical SEO team to create product improvements and stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven project management skills and experience managing SEO content projects.
  • Excellent analytical and data-driven approach to surfacing content opportunities and delivering actionable insights.
  • Ability to build relationships across the business and deliver strategic presentations to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience using industry-leading tools, such as GSC, Screaming Frog, ahrefs, and SemRush.
  • Numerate and fluent in aggregating and analyzing core campaign performance metrics.
