About the Role

The Service Support Lead will play a crucial role in managing the coordination of external support contracts within the Infrastructure Organisation. This involves effectively maintaining and coordinating an external support services capability, ensuring that outsourced and internal support are delivered to schedule, quality, and cost.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all task dependencies internal and external to ensure timely delivery of outsourced and internal support.
  • Identify trends and single points of failure, and make recommendations for potential improvements and optimisations.
  • Provide continued improvement recommendations, highlighting additional cost-effective activities that could be conducted.
  • Hold regular meetings with Service Management to update on current tasking performance and coordinate on future scheduled tasking.
  • Introduce consistent reporting metrics.

Requirements

  • Excellent stakeholder relationship skills.
  • Knowledge of the Royal Navy and its processes.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Resource allocation.
  • Knowledge of Risk Management.
  • Process creation and Management.

Qualifications

  • English and Maths GCSE or equivalent.
  • UK full driver's license.

Security Clearance

  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
