About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Supervisor to lead our Grounds Maintenance team in the Tandridge District, managing services across housing association properties, community green spaces, and urban areas.

This role requires strong operational leadership, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with health and safety standards. You will supervise up to 10 team members, oversee daily operations, and support on-site activities as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Supervision and Management: Lead and support a team of up to 10 staff, including team leaders, to deliver grounds maintenance services.
  • Scheduling and Task Allocation: Develop and maintain work schedules on an annual, monthly, weekly, and daily basis, ensuring all tasks are prioritized, completed on time, and meet quality standards.
  • Training and Toolbox Talks: Conduct regular training sessions and toolbox talks to educate team members on safety protocols, task requirements, and best practices for grounds maintenance.
  • Quality Assurance and Inspections: Audit and inspect completed work to ensure it meets specified standards, managing any additional tasks beyond scheduled maintenance.
  • Stakeholder and Client Communication: Act as a liaison between the team and various stakeholders, handling queries and providing regular updates on project progress.
  • Health, Safety, and Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting routine risk assessments and inspections.
