Job Description

This is a senior role within our events team, responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and delivering results.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating and delivering international B2B conferences, a deep understanding of sponsorship formats and deliverables, and excellent communication and influencing skills.

The jobholder will work closely with our sales team to develop commercial strategies, analyze audience categories and pricing strategies, and oversee post-event analysis and write comprehensive post-event reports.

Main Responsibilities
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and delivering results.
  • Developing conference programs, event formats, and agendas, as well as identifying key partnerships.
  • Identifying, inviting, and confirming high-level speakers and moderators for each event.
  • Researching and developing commercial strategies through calls, face-to-face meetings, and collaborations with sales representatives.
  • Analyzing audience categories and pricing strategies for delegate management.
  • Writing and delivering event briefs for marketing and sales teams.
  • Generating marketing copy for email, social, print, and video channels.
  • Overseeing post-event analysis and writing comprehensive post-event reports.
Requirements
  • Experience in creating and delivering international B2B conferences.
  • Understanding of sponsorship formats and deliverables across events.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, especially on the telephone.
  • Office experience and sound knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales.
  • Positive work ethic, can-do attitude, and plenty of initiative and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work well in a team but also take initiative to work independently.
