Safety Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Systems Specialist to join our Quality Assurance and Compliance Monitoring team at CAE.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity is focused on managing, customizing, and ensuring operational efficiency of the Centrik IT Management System within the framework of Safety, Quality Assurance, and Compliance Monitoring (SQA&CM). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing regular system checks, identifying potential issues or areas for improvement, and ensuring optimal performance of the system. Your expertise will also involve integrating new tools and technologies, co-ordinating with global and regional teams, and aligning the system's functionalities with business needs.
Main Responsibilities- Administer the system's daily operations, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
- Implement regular system checks to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Ensure optimal performance of the system, manage updates, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability across all operational areas.
- Co-ordinate with the system provider and internal IT infrastructure teams to ensure the system's security and data integrity.
- Customize the system's modules and workflows to precisely fit the organizational needs and processes.
- Evaluate and implement integrations with other internal systems or third-party applications to enhance functionality and user experience.
To succeed in this role, you must have previous experience working with a fully functioning Integrated Safety, Quality Assurance and Compliance Management System for Training Organisations or Airlines. It would be an added advantage if you have worked with Centrik IT System Management or similar QMS/Compliance software. You should possess working level knowledge of ICAO, Transport Canada, FAR, CASA, EASA and other NAA regulations relating to Safety, Quality Assurance, Training and Operations. Additionally, you must be able to analyze complex Safety, Technical and Operational events and develop sound recommendations that satisfy stakeholders.
