The Role: Healthcare Assistant

As a Healthcare Assistant, you'll play a vital role in delivering compassionate care to patients in their homes. You'll work closely with families, providing practical and emotional support during a challenging time.

Your Responsibilities
  • Assisting patients with personal care needs, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Monitoring symptoms and providing comfort measures
  • Administering medication as instructed
  • Keeping detailed records of patient care
  • Working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure holistic patient care
What We're Looking For

We seek individuals who are compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.

  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience in End-of-Life Care
  • A current valid driving licence and access to a car for business use
  • Experience in Palliative Care is desirable
  • Emotional strength and the ability to work independently
  • The ability to work flexible hours, including nights
  • Access to a computer and the internet for mandatory training requirements
