Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Logistics Specialist to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods to customers. The successful candidate will have a full, clean driving license and prior driving experience.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for career progression and personal development within the company. You will work closely with other teams to ensure seamless delivery operations and provide exceptional customer service. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to multitask effectively.

The estimated salary for this position is £12.40 per hour. This rate may vary based on individual performance and experience.

Our drivers work 4 days out of 6 (Monday - Saturday), allowing for 3 days off each week to maintain a healthy work/life balance. Overtime is available when required, providing potential to increase earnings. As a driver for the Partnership, you will promote the Partnership brand through professional and courteous conduct towards other road users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete the Customer Delivery Driver Trainee programme to become a fully competent John Lewis Customer Delivery Installer.
  • Installation and disconnection of white goods.
  • Assembly of flat pack furniture.
  • TV installations.
  • Offering to take away packaging.
  • Upon returning to the customer delivery hub, complete your end-of-day vehicle check and debrief, reporting any issues or defects.


Required Qualifications:
  • Full, clean, manual Category B driving license.
  • Must be aged 18 or over.
  • Experience in the installation of white goods, furniture assembly, or related skills.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, both over the phone and in person.
