Job Title: Trainee Water Treatment Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Water Treatment Engineer to join our Technical Services team at SMS Environmental. As a Trainee Water Treatment Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality water treatment services to our clients across the UK.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with our internal chemists and mechanical engineers to deliver water treatment services
  • Conduct fault finding, remediation, and installation of water treatment systems
  • Perform water treatment analysis, system performance, and remediation works
  • Carry out heating and chilled closed system works
  • Servicing of water softeners and other water treatment systems
  • Complete all work on in-house software using an iPad
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to a variety of clients
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a trade role, delivering high-quality customer service
  • Passion and dedication to develop your career within water hygiene
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
  • Ability to use IT equipment such as an iPad and mobile phone
  • Excellent time-keeping
  • Flexibility to travel (dependent on business needs)
  • Full UK, manual, driving license
