Job Title: Trainee Water Treatment Engineer

Location: Oxfordshire

Salary: £22,308 - £24,500

We are seeking a Trainee Water Treatment Engineer to join our Technical Services team, delivering high-quality water treatment services across our client sites. This role supports the ongoing delivery and strategic growth of the SMS Water Treatment Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal chemists and mechanical engineers to deliver water treatment services
  • Fault finding, remediation, and installation of water treatment systems
  • Water treatment analysis, system performance, and remediation works
  • Carry out heating and chilled closed system works
  • Servicing of water softeners and other water treatment systems
  • Complete work on in-house software using an iPad
  • Deliver quality customer service to a variety of clients

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a trade role, delivering high-quality customer service
  • Passion and dedication to develop your career within water hygiene
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
  • Ability to use IT equipment, such as an iPad and mobile phone
  • Excellent time-keeping
  • Flexibility to travel (dependent on business needs)
  • Full UK, manual, driving license
